Good guesthouse

Pick up and drop me at the main bus station. Good local breakfast. Gave many tips and suggestions. Ready to help. It is very near the sea. Room is good and you have a kitchen to cook. Speak English.

Warm, cosy guesthouse with exceptional hosts!

Breakfast was exceptional. So happy we were treated like family with a warm home-cooked meal each morning and very thankful that Mrs Choi woke up early each morning to prepare the meal. Mr Choi was so helpful and detailed - he helped us plan our time in Jeju down to where to have our meals!

Nothing much, except the traditional room that we had booked was a little tight for our family of 5, but this was no fault of the guesthouse - probably should have checked.

My stay in Blue Island Guesthouse was literally my best life experience in a travel accommodation: the place, the facilities and mostly the hosts... It felt like being part of it. Cannot recommend a place more than the Blue Island "Paradise" Wonderful!

Area was peaceful and quiet. Room was neat and clean. Hosts were kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was sumptuous and authentically Korean. Perfect for a rest break.

Great place with great owners

Very attentive friendly and prompt to respond owners of quite comfortable accommodation close to seaside and many attractions. Charging station for EV. We arrived late and owner took us to the nearby store for us to get something to eat as we had already parked out car and took a lot of time to recommend places and even make us a week worth of activities. Very keen on helping, advising and making sure guests and taken care of. Thank you.

Would have appreciated sheet linens but a small thing comparing with the positives

Nice Host & Valuable Place to stay

Hosts are super nice and friendly, feel warm welcome. Even we had late check-in but hosts waited to see us and provided good recommend for trip plan.

Mattress are super thin & totally not comfortable for sleeping and host didn’t provide additional mattress for our paid extra-bed. Lastly, the room had musty smell. Otherwise it’s all good.

One of the greatest and welcoming stays I’ve ever stayed at

Must be one of the most welcoming and homely places I’ve ever stayed at away from home and that’s coming from an introvert. The owner picked me up from Jeju Folk Village, took me inside and completely filled out my 5 days with things to do and see, how to use the buses and which ones to use, which I would of never been able to do without his help. Then since I was solo traveling he offered to show me one of the local Korean bbq places and we had a feast of grilled pork and a bottle of Jeju style soju for dinner, happiest welcome I’ve had in my life. His wife made breakfast every morning which was delicious, swapping between fish, miso soup and dumpling soup with lots of little side dishes. The room was great and very comfy coming with a mini kitchen with everything you need besides ingredients to cook a meal which I did. On my last day I climbed Hallasan and the owner offered to drive me there if I payed for fuel so I could make it up before the summit closed at 12:30 and if it wasn’t for that I don’t think I would of made it in time. I’ll recommend this place to anyone who stays in Jeju and would definitely come back here again.

Cosy, comfortable and clean place with very welcoming hosts

Absolutely amazing approach from the property owner and his family, they make you feel welcome and comfortable from the first minute, providing directions and tips for local must visit places and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and squeeky clean, and the whole place was very cosy. A cherry on top of the cake was delicious traditional Korean breakfast served in the morning. Thank you very much for the amazing stay.

The room was very clean and had a little kitchen in it. The owner was super nice and helpful. Even if you travel by bus it's easy to access, because the bus station is just few minutes away. Overall very nice place!

Convenient location

Owner of the place is really friendly person, showed us around and we spent also morning together talking.

One more mattress for fourth person would be good. For four of us it was a bit narrow to sleep.

The owner (Uncle Choy) was an exceptional host, friendly and helpful. His restaurant recommendation was outstanding. Great advice on where to visit to make the most out of our trip. 100% recommend.

Incredible & perfect.

The owner & his wife really welcomed us like a family. They always come up with a very good recommendations for our plans. The breakfasts are super delicious, we can feel the Koreans warmth.

wonderful & recommend !

the owner has been super accommodating and friendly to give us a warm welcome and tips to go around. the room has everything you’d needed + home cooked breakfast every morning.

like most of the places are in Jeju. the bathroom was abit chill when you leave from main room

Beautiful room in the village near Pyonson city

Spotless new rooms in a fully equipped guesthouse even have National Geographic in English on the flat-screen television. The friendly host/hostess prepared a Korean breakfast from 8 am to 9 am. Hot water is available in the kitchen/breakfast room downstairs and there is a kettle and small kitchen in thre room.

Just a detail but I prefer open air to air-conditioning for ventilation when sleeping, but the windows seem to be sealed , probably to keep dust and insects out. The so-named sea view is minimal through double- glazed windows .

Genuine hospitality on a beautiful island!

The guesthouse convinces with clean and well-equipped rooms and is quietly located. Moreover, you can see the sea from your room. Shopping facilities as well as restaurants are nearby and a volcanic stone beach is only a few metres away. The beach is used by the local "sea women" (Haenyo) as a base for their fishing trips, so you can spot them if you are lucky and there at the right time. All in all, the small village in which the guesthouse is located gives a feeling of life on Jeju beyond tourism. Despite this, the village is well connected to the rest of the island via bus line 201 (one of the two main bus lines) and you can easily explore most of the island from here. But the really special thing about the guesthouse is the owners. They are very kind and warm people who make you feel right at home and provide tips and advice for a wonderful trip and so much more! Korean heartiness in its purest form!

Nice hotel in a quiet neighbourhood

The hotel staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpfull. I got many useful suggestions on places I could visit, help with extending a expired SIM card and even a ride to the local community center to print visa documents.

The bed was okay but could have been more confortable.
